Old Iron Post

The Old Iron Post has a rich history in downtown Sherman.
The latest use of the building is a great restaurant with lots of character. There are some interesting sites to see nearby also.
They have several interesting menu items like "Monkey Balls" and "Scotch eggs" too.

GPS files can be downloaded from the Club website by clicking on "Routes and Documents" and then on the "Click to access the Document Database" box. Click on the folder icon next to "GPS Route Files" and then click on "Upcoming Rides". The file name is "20190217 Old Iron Post".

If reviewing the route, you will notice a short drive over the bridge and back. This is to view the old Carpenter's Bluff bridge (and make this a multi-state ride).
