Ride Distance and time: Day 1: 370 miles to Clarksville, AR (11 hrs)
Day 2: 277 miles -The Arkansas Loop (10 hrs)
Day 3: 320 miles to McKinney, TX (11 hrs)
Day 1 will be up through Idabel and Y City making our way to the scenic Mt. Magazine state park for some fantastic vistas. From Mt. Magazine on to the Hampton Inn in Clarksville for the night.
Day 2 will be north to ride the Dragon’s Tail then onward to the Arkansas Grand Canyon scenic lookout and lunch at the Cliff House. After lunch through Ponca where if we are luck we may spot some of the Arkansas Elk herd as we make our way north towards Eureka Springs by way of Berryville and Beaver. At Beaver we’ll cross the single lane, wooden decked, Beaver Bridge and take some awesome photos. Heading back we’ll pass back through Eureka Springs and down 23 to the Arkansas Pig Trail, a top 10 motorcycle road in the US. We’ll take a break at the very cool Turner Bend Store then thru Oark and back to the hotel. Day 3 we will head back to Texas, again on some very curvy and scenic roads in Arkansas. The roads in Oklahoma and Texas will be more direct.
