Lone Star BMW Riders presents a
“Colorado Vacation”
June 20-28, 2020
The Plan….
It’s a ride….it’s a vacation….it’s BOTH!
We will take a couple day ride through some beautiful countryside heading west. Once we get to the mountains in New Mexico, the fun will start. These are great roads that most of you have been on several times…but they never get old.
The “vacation” starts in Durango. You can do the planned rides or take advantage of the many things to do there and in the surrounding area. If your “significant other” doesn’t want to do the long ride there, have them fly into Durango and just do the fun stuff. There is a train ride through the mountains, Jeep (or GS…) backcountry riding, river rafting, Durango Mountain, and of course, unlimited shopping. We’ll be in Durango for four nights.
The first stop on the way back will be Albuquerque. We’ll stop in Chama, Santa Fe, Madrid (Ma-dray), and Sandia Peak on the way. The next day is a desert blast to Lubbock and then home the next day.
