AUTUMN COLORS RIDE - 2019

Your Registration for this Event is Recommended so we know who will be joining us in Mountain View, AR! Several options getting you to Mountain View are offered below.

Long Version Departs - October 31; Returns - November 4 (Thursday - Monday)
Traditional Version Departs - November 1; Returns - November 3 (Friday - Sunday)
Self Directed (You are in charge!) Departs - At your leisure; Returns - At your discretion

THE DETAILS:

The Long Version ride involves two days to get to Mountain View, and a two day return. The ride will include some of the Talimena drive. See below for more details.

The Traditional Version ride will be a more direct ride to and from Mountain View using mostly US and Arkansas highways.

Our Club-Sponsored Day Rides are a motorcyclist treat. Maybe the most dramatic vistas in Arkansas:

* D1 is 293 miles, traveling north into Missouri and includes a ride up Push Mountain, a ride on the Peel Ferry, and lunch in Missouri.

* D2 is a shorter 234 mile ride to the west, and includes a visit to the "Arkansas Grand Canyon" and lunch at The Cliff House. Following lunch is a ride down the "Arkansas Dragon". Doug Davis will be your Ride Leader.

The Group Dinner will be at the Anglers White River Resort Restaurant. Seating will be at 6 p.m. Anglers White River Resort is located 10 miles north of Mountain View, AR, at the intersection of Highways 5, 9, and 14, (GPS: N35 56.316, W92 06.958).

GPS Routes can be downloaded from the Club website by clicking on "Routes and Documents" and then on the "Click to access the Document Database" box. Then:

Click on the folder icon next to "GPS Route Files" and then click on "Upcoming Rides".
