LSBMWR Photography and Photo Sharing
Photography and riding just seem to go together. You want to capture the images during the ride and at your destination so you can share your excitement with others. Photographs are the next best thing to being there.

We strongly encourage our members to share their photos with the group. In that spirit we have provided the following opportunities for sharing photos. Please become familiar with them and use these opportunities often.

Ever wondered how Byron Lawrence and Richard Swim always take those great pictures? Well, they graciously volunteered to share their knowledge during two sessions in May 2008 at Motopia. The first session focused on what needs to happen before you press that shutter button. Composition, lighting, aperture, shutter speed, white balance were just a few of the topics addressed by Byron. (Link to PDF file with copies of slides)

The second session addressed what to do with the hundreds of pictures taken on a trip to great places like the Hill Country, Arkansas or Colorado. Richard reviewed the aspects, tools and techniques of the digital darkroom. It included a review of the sharing and storage of pictures on the Web. (Link to PDF file with copies of slides)
