Main Agenda: Annual Officer Elections
Current officers described their functions as officers, followed by a general open discussion on the future direction of the club. As a Tax Exempt corporation in the state of Texas, the club is required to have a minimum of 3 officers and if we as a club cannot maintain this arrangement we will have to dissolve the club. A vote was taken, and unanimously, it was decided we will stay a structured club. Thankfully, our membership answered the call and we elected 3 new officers, with the office of President remaining open for now.
Our new Lone Star officers for 2016:
Vice President: Mike Secor
Treasurer: Rick French
Secretary: Al and Alexis Casazza
Congratulations and THANK YOU for serving LSBMWR
Following the officer elections the question of a ride committee came up and a very lively discussion ensued. An open call for ride committee volunteers was posed by Ben Fleisher, and the response was overwhelming. 14 members raised their hand to answer the call. That was just shy of 1/2 the members present.
Arron Zimmerman has kindly offered his shop, once again, for the 2016 Tech Day. Thank you Arron.
